Tania Hlohovsky-Andrist

Tania J. Hlohovsky Andrist is the inaugural Executive Director of the Centre for Sustainable Innovation at Southeast College, where she leads applied research and partnership initiatives focused on rural innovation, workforce development, and community economic development.

Her career spans journalism, strategic communications, and non-profit sector program development, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, systems thinking, and bridging the digital divide in rural and regional communities. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Regina, as well as a Certificate in Innovation and Non-Profit Leadership from Luther College at the University of Regina. She is currently completing a Master of Business Administration in Community Economic Development at Cape Breton University.
