“Building Canada’s Future, From the Ground Up” is the operating premise of Rural Innovate Festival and Forum 2026.
The conference exists to demonstrate how rural regions actively deliver innovation, workforce capacity, cultural vitality, and economic resilience that contribute directly to Canada’s long-term prosperity.
Innovate Rural 2026 is intentionally designed as a working rural innovation festival —where applied research, industry, Indigenous partners, artists, educators, and policymakers intersect around real delivery, not abstract discussion.
